Arriving at Barcelona Airport is only the beginning of your golf trip.
Once you have collected your luggage, you may still need to reach a golf club, resort, hotel or accommodation outside central Barcelona.
A private taxi allows you to arrange that journey before you arrive.
Go BCN Taxi provides door-to-door transportation, collecting passengers from their specified location and taking them directly to their destination.
For golfers, this means you can arrange transportation around your itinerary rather than relying on a combination of airport and local services.
Your destination might be:
Your journey, arranged in advance
Travel directly from Barcelona Airport to the golf club, resort, hotel, villa or event location that forms part of your itinerary.
Barcelona Airport • Golf • Private Transfer
Flight schedules can change, so organising a golf transfer around your actual arrival time is important.
Go BCN Taxi monitors flight landing information for airport pickups and adjusts the driver's arrival when flights are delayed.
This allows golf travellers to arrange their transfer before departure without having to worry that a minor flight delay will automatically invalidate the pickup plan.
When booking, provide your flight number and destination.
The golf-bag information is especially important because standard passenger capacity does not necessarily equal luggage capacity.
Golf equipment takes up more room than ordinary luggage.
A passenger may arrive with one suitcase and one golf bag,
while a group of four golfers could have several large bags
and multiple pieces of equipment.
Go BCN Taxi offers sedans, SUVs and minivans.
The company states that its sedans can accommodate up to four passengers with four luggage bags. However, golfers should provide details of their golf equipment before booking so that luggage capacity can be considered.
An SUV can provide additional room and may be suitable for passengers travelling with golf equipment.
For golf groups, a minivan can be a more practical choice because it provides additional passenger and luggage capacity. Go BCN Taxi describes its minivans as suitable for larger groups, families, tourist groups and corporate teams.
Travelling with golf equipment? Share your golf bag and luggage details when booking so the vehicle choice can be considered before your airport transfer.
Golf trips are often organised around groups rather than individual travellers. A group may be travelling for:
Keeping everyone together can make airport transportation easier. Instead of splitting your party between several taxis, ask about an appropriate larger vehicle. Provide the complete passenger and equipment count when booking.
Go BCN Taxi does not limit its long-distance service to Barcelona city. Its website information states that the company provides long-distance taxi transfers to destinations across Catalonia, with negotiable pricing and toll road charges included in the final fare.
This is particularly relevant to golfers because golf courses and resorts can be located outside central Barcelona.
Instead of treating the airport as the final destination for your transfer, you can arrange transportation to the golf destination itself.
Some golf travellers arrive at Barcelona Airport before checking into their hotel.
You may therefore need a journey such as:

Go BCN Taxi offers door-to-door transportation and hourly taxi hire, with its general hourly service starting from €28 per hour according to the supplied company information.
Golf and business travel often overlap. Companies may organise golf days, meetings, client events or team activities outside Barcelona.
Go BCN Taxi offers corporate taxi services and official receipts for business clients.
A private golf transfer can therefore be useful for:
Golf travellers heading towards the Manresa area have another reason to consider a direct airport transfer.
Official Catalonia tourism information lists Manresa Golf Club, located on the road between Manresa and Igualada. The club has an 18-hole course, driving range, putting green, practice bunker and golf school.
A private transfer can be arranged for golfers whose itinerary includes the Manresa area, subject to the destination and vehicle requirements supplied during booking.
Golf holidays are often planned around early tee times and fixed schedules. After a long flight, dealing with several transport changes can add unnecessary stress to the first day.
A direct taxi transfer lets you settle into your journey immediately after leaving the airport.
Go BCN Taxi describes its fleet as smoke-free, insured and regularly maintained. The company also states that its drivers are licensed, background checked and professionally trained.
Go BCN Taxi states that it does not charge extra for luggage.
Golf equipment is nevertheless different from ordinary luggage because it can require more physical space.
Therefore, tell the booking team about your golf bags before your transfer. This allows the appropriate vehicle to be considered rather than assuming that standard luggage capacity will be enough.
Not every golf trip is made up of golfers alone. You may be travelling with:
